Elimu360 ('Elimu360', 'we', 'us') operates a marketplace connecting schools, suppliers, parents, and shoppers across Kenya and East Africa. This policy explains what information we collect through the platform — the website, the vendor and school portals, and related services — and how we use it.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Elimu360, regardless of account type: school administrators, teachers and parents managing a school account, vendors and suppliers listing products or fulfilling orders, individual shoppers, and platform administrators.
If you access Elimu360 on behalf of a school or a business, you confirm you’re authorized to share that organization’s information with us under this policy.
We share information only where it’s needed to provide the service:
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Elimu360 accounts (school admin, vendor, parent, shopper) are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any student-related information a school chooses to manage within its own school-management tools is governed by that school’s own policies and its agreement with Elimu360, not by this consumer-facing marketplace policy.
We keep account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. KYC documents are retained for as long as required by applicable financial and regulatory record- keeping rules.
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to report any suspected unauthorized access immediately.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the site that require you to be signed in.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes, we’ll notify you through the platform or by email.
